Huge London Haul

Hi guys! Excuse me for the very long break i had on this blog, but i'm really busy with uni, but here i am again with new posts coming soon!

Last week i went to London for few days just because i was missing London so much. I took the chance to do some shopping while i was there, but i tried to control myself and buy just things i can't get in italy, and i think i did a preatty good job. So here there are all the products i bought and some thoughts about them.

First of all i went to boots, which i love because there are so many interesting things there and as you may know boots doesn't deliver outside the UK. Well i went to boots and i picked up some really good staff...

The first thing i took was the tangle teezer which i heard so many good things about it. I have the purple sparkling one and i AODRE it! Literally it doesn't damage my hair at all, since i bought i'm always brushing my hair (and i feel a bit like rapunzel). For me brushing my hair was a nightmare because i have straight hair but they tangle a lot and when it comes to brushing them i always have tears on my eyes, if know what i mean. Well this brush doesn't hurt at all and it meant to be for all kind of hair and you can use it with dry or wet hai which is great!

Then, always from boots, i picked up two Bourjois trio eyeshadows, Mordore chic and Rose vintage.
Mordore chic contains 3 different shades of browns

Rose Vintage

I can't say a lot about these 2 trio because i hadn't the chance to use them yet, but when i'll try them i'll do a reviws if you want.
I also bought the nail polish remover by Bourjois and i can really sugest it if you are lazy like me when it comes to take off the nail polish. it's quikly and easy.

Moving to nail polish i fell in love with the Revlon FASHONISTA (471)

It's an amazing color but it comes out a little bit darker than in the bottle.

I also bought a set of the Real Technique core collection by Samantha Chapma.
This set is composed by: Buffing brush, Contour brush, Pointed Foundation brush and Detailer brush.

As you can see i used just the Detailer brush which is per fect to correct piples and any mistakes you make with the lipstick.

Then i went to the Origins stand and i bought a new cleanser Checks and Balances, for combination skin.

Well i think i'll write a review on this because i want to make an onest review, but i'm liking it so far.

Last but not least i wanted to try something from Liz Earle powder blush in Blossom 02. I can already tell you that i LOVE this blush and i think i'm going to try more thnigs from this brand.

There isn't much more to say about this product, apart from how lovely it its, so I will let the pictures do the talking. Oh and that I picked mine up from John Lewis for £16.50.

Hope you liked this never ending post ad please let me know any sugestion!

Hits and Shits • October 2012

It's been a while since my last monthly favourite, so here i am again writing about Hits and Shits of October.

HITS:

First of all i want to mention my everyday colored lip butter of this month, Pink Truffle lip butter by Revlon. I can't say enough good words about this lip product, it's so wearable, moisturizing and easy to apply. I think that this kind fo warm rosy pink is perfect for autumn, it last 3 hours on me but as i said it's so easy to apply that you won't need the mirror!

Now let's talk about eyes! This month i've been loving my Wet N Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow 249 Vanity, this mini palette is composed by 6 shades, 3 matte and 3 shimmer. Since i started Uni i'm always in a hurry and with this palette i can do a nice nude smokie in 2 minutes, which is just what i need to look good. The eyeshadows are well pigmented and the lighter shades can be used as higlighter too.

Moving on to foundation i wanna mention one of my latest purchase form Neve Cosmetics website. I generally don't use foundation during the day becase i don't feel like wearing it and i wanna let my skin braeth, i usually use it when i have a night out or some special event, but lately i had a bad brake out so i needed to cover up some pimples here and there. I chose Neve cosmetics Light Neutral high coverage foundation, which is a mineral product. I prefer to use this kind of natural make up when i have skin problems so my skin can breath and pores are not blocked. This foudantion reminds me a lot the Bare minerals one, in fact they are really similar but Neve cosmetics doesn't have SPF.

Last but not least there is my new blush brush 129 from MAC. There is nothing much to say about it, except that i adore it i use this brush almost every day to apply and blend my blsuh into my cheeks and it works very well.

SHITS:

I don't really have many shits for this moth except for two hair products: shampoo and conditioner by Moroccanoil. I konw this is a famous and well known hair brand but i tried these two products for litterally 2 months now and i don't see any difference. They are pretty expensive (20 Euro per product) i don't think i will repurchase them again, i was quite disappointed!

Hope you liked 'Hits and Shits' of October and don't forget to comment!

In Londo Mineral Collection, by Neve Cosmetics

I finally got the Neve Cosmetics London collection which came out some months ago, but i thought to share it with you all. In one of my previous post i spoke about the Neve Cosmetics brand and i think it's the only make up brand that Italy can be proud of, even if it's not very famous abroad. All Neve's make up are cruelty free and bio, so they can be used for every day make up without damaging the skin. They are well pigmented and not expensive at all. They also come out with different collections, this one i'm going to show you is called "In London", the temting name (i'm a london lover) and the beautiful colors made me buy almost the entire collection.

In London is composed by 4 different mineral eyeshadows 2 mineral blushes and 3 brushes. I personally own all 4 eyeshadows, 1 blush... but let see them closer!

Camden Town eyeshadow

Carnaby Street Shadows

 Kensington Gardens

Notting Hill eyeshadow

As you can see the pigmentation is incredible and the colors are just lovely.

London Mood Blush

For blush i only chose this one because this was the one i like the most while the other one was slightly orange so i decided to pick up this beautiful rosy pink.

If you like even just one of these products i suggest you to check out the Neve Cosmetics' website: http://www.nevecosmetics.it/it/

Thank you for reading,
see you at the next post!

OPI Collection: Skyfall 007 James Bond

Well well well long time no see! Let me explane why i didn't write for a while, as you may know this year is the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film. I've never been a James Bond sucker, i saw some film when i was little but never liked them much so when October began i decided to watch more carefully all the films ( from the first to the last with extra), in fact sky is having a '007 month' on Sky Cinema Hit. Let me say that after a week of a James Bond full immersion, i'm literally in LOVE. My favourites film are: Licence to kill, Golden Finger, On her majesty secret service, The spy who loved me and The living daylight.
But i'm not here just to speak about Cinema, in fact OPI made a special collection for this special occasion, so how could i resist to these beautyiful vanishes?

The OPI Skyfall 007 James Bond Collection for October 2012 is available now, the names of all these colors are, of course, James Bond themed,

Here is the entire collection.

1. Live and let die - Burn the candles at both ends in this private jet black.

2. The Man With The Golden Gun - Top Coat is an 18K gold leaf top coat.

3. Goldeneye - All eyes will be upon you when you wear this gorgeous gold.

4. Casino Royale - This high-rolling plum is fit for royalty.

5. Skyfall - Get bonded with this magnificent maroon.

So all the polishes i showed you were my favourite of the collection. Speaking again about Films I personally prefer the classic James Bond films starring Sean Connery, Roger Moor, Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby.
